  1. How long does it take to proceed after applying for the MM2H program?

It takes approximately 4 to 5 months to get proceed after submitting the complete application requirements.

  1. By MM2H Program I’m I qualify to purchase a property in Malaysia?

Unfortunately, the program doesn’t allow the participants to purchase a home or property in Malaysia. Most people who come into the country through the program prefer to stay in apartments and rented properties. Malaysian Government has strict laws and several sets of rules with respect to property purchase. They allow a foreigner to buy a property only if the property value exceeds above RM1, 000,000.

  1. I am below 50 years old; am I eligible for the MM2H program?

Yes, you are completely eligible and qualified but you need to show that you have enough financial requirements at your side.

You should go through two processes

  1. Requirement criteria before the application process
  • You have to show the copies of the last three bank transaction statements based upon your application date.
  • Your bank account should have the cash equivalent of RM 500,000/- in any type such as fixed deposit, current or savings account and shouldn’t have bonds or shares.
  • You should have a monthly income equivalent to RM10,000/-
  1. Requirement criteria after the application process
  • After the completion of the application process, you will get an approval letter.
  • After receiving it, you have to place RM300, 000/- in a fixed deposit account in any Malaysian banks and this money should remain in the account throughout your permit duration.
  • Once after transferring the money, you will get an MM2H stamp in your passport and you are ready to go!
  1. I am over 50 years old; am I eligible for the MM2H program?

Yes, you are eligible, and the process is as same as the process which is taken for the people who are below 50.

You should go through two processes

  1. Requirement criteria before the application process
  • You should have to show the copies of the last three bank transaction statements based upon your application date.
  • And your bank account should have the cash equivalent of RM 350, 000/-n any type such as fixed deposit, current or savings account and shouldn’t have bonds or shares.
  • You should have a monthly income equivalent to RM10,000/-
  1. Requirement criteria after the application process
  • After the completion of the application process, you will get an approval letter.
  • After receiving it, you have to place RM 150, 000/- in a fixed deposit account in any Malaysian banks and this money should remain in the account throughout your permit duration.
  • Once after transferring the money into your Malaysian bank accounts, you will get an MM2H stamp in your passport and you will be permitted to enter the country by the program.
  1. Will I able to withdraw the fixed deposit amount placed under the MM2H before the program termination?

In general, the cash placed on behalf of the program should not be withdrawn until the completion of 10 years. However, you can withdraw part of the fixed deposit amount within a year for the benefit of your child’s education, medical expenses. Individuals above 50 years can take away cash equivalent up to

RM150, 000/- and Individuals below 50 years can take away cash equivalent up to 50,000 after a year.
